Some recent discussion has resulted in a change of our first change-over point from Vama Veche, Romania to Istanbul, Turkey. The initial plans involved two members of the team flying out of Bucharest, Romania, John and Rebecca, both to get them home in time to get back to work and to avoid having to buy an entry Visa to Turkey. Lori would then fly into Bucharest and join the car.
At some point there was a decision to have Rebecca and John stay in the car until Istanbul, kicking Lori out until that changeover point.
It’s unknown when this discussion took place because it did not involve myself or Lori. It’s only two days between Bucharest and Istanbul by our plan, but we don’t have a car yet and don’t really know how well 5 people would fit in the car.
This has caused some friction in the team, but it’s helped make it clear to us that we need to make decisions as a group or we’re going have issues on the rally.
